My Story

Hi there,

I’m Steph. I’m a mom to three kiddos, and Sheldon — my pandemic basset hound puppy.

I’m a New York Times best-selling author and the host of the Slow Living podcast. I’m a success coach and mindset mentor who writes, coaches, teaches, and speaks about how to make your dreams come true without hype or hustle.

I specialize in helping people figure out how to reach their personal & professional goals in a slow, steady, and sustainable way.

Some of the clients I’ve worked with say that I have taken them from a “hot mess to success.” 🙂

I like Reeses Peanut butter cups, napping, cheap white wine with a screw-top, garden gnomes, brie cheese, and my crockpots (I have 14!).

If you are ready to map out your goals so you can live the life of your dreams — without self-sacrifice or being in “GO Go GO hustle-mode” — reach out to me. This is what I do, and my clients have achieved amazing results.

You really CAN live the life of your dreams. It starts by learning how to listen to your gut, your intuition, and by SLOWING DOWN.

It sounds counter-intuitive, but you can actually achieve MORE when you GO SLOW.
 I am here to help.

What is it that you WANT?

Are you looking to make more money, start an online business, lose weight, find your soul mate, retire early, be an amazing parent, or have more time to volunteer? All of the above?

I can help.

Through my books, speaking, podcast, courses, and one-on-one success coaching I help people get all of the HAVE TOs of life over with quickly and efficiently so they can finally do the things in life that they WANT TO.

Because the laundry, chores, soccer practice, meal planning, and litter box scooping? That’s not WHO you are; that’s not your identity. Those are the things you HAVE TO do.

We will work together so you can finally be the person you’ve always wanted to be, and do the things you actually WANT TO do.

That’s what I do, and I am here to support you. I’m a real person, and I really can be of help to you.

Why I Do What I Do

I love helping people. The very best part of my day is reading emails from people from all over the world, thanking me.

They thank me for my recipes & meal planning advice, and they thank me for simplifying the daily chores.

But mostly, they thank me for being real. For walking my talk.

Because I really am a real person. And I get what it’s like to plan on getting up super early to get my website updated and some writing done, but instead be woken at 3am with a kid with a bloody nose.

I spent the first few years of my business and parenting career feeling overwhelmed and frustrated that all of the self-help, personal development, and time management books at my local bookstore were written by business men.

I wanted success. I wanted to achieve my goals. But I refused to sacrifice myself, or my family in the process.

Since then, I’ve spent my days writing, coaching, and teaching in ways that are helpful, and inspirational.

If you are ready to cut out the noise and the nonsense of Hustle Culture and find a way to meet (and exceed!) your personal and professional goals in a sustainable way — reach out to me.
